DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF DAYS AND HOURS) (No. 2) ORDER, 1968.

I, MICHEÁL Ó MÓRÁIN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 (1) (f) of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 2) Order, 1968.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of November, 1968.

2. In this Order " the Principal Order " means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ).

3. The day for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Bailieborough shall, in lieu of the day specified in column (4) at reference number 6 in the First Schedule and in column (4) at reference number 6 in the Second Schedule to the Principal Order, be the third Monday in each month, and the Principal Order shall be construed and have effect accordingly.

4. The hour for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Bailieborough shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 6 in the First Schedule and in column (4) at reference number 6 in the Second Schedule to the Principal Order, be 2.30 p.m.

5. The hour for holding the District Court in the District Court Area of Belturbet shall, in lieu of the hour specified in column (4) at reference number 9 in the First Schedule and in column (4) at reference number 9 in the Second Schedule to the Principal Order, be 11.00 a.m.

6. Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order alters the existing provisions with regard to the dates and the commencement time of sittings of the District Court in Bailieborough and the commencement time of sittings of the District Court in Belturbet.
