HARBOUR RATES (BANTRY PIER) ORDER, 1968. | ||||||||||||||||||
The Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the Harbours (Regulation of Rates) Act, 1934 (No. 2 of 1934), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby orders as follows : 1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Bantry Pier) Order, 1968. | ||||||||||||||||||
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 23rd day of October, 1968. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. 3. The rates set out in the Schedule to this Order are hereby fixed as the rates to be charged by the Cork County Council in respect of Bantry pier. 4. Every statutory or other provision fixing, restricting or otherwise regulating the rates or the maximum or minimum rates chargeable by the Cork County Council on subjects of charges set out in the Schedule to this Order, or the basis on which or method by which such rates are computed, is hereby revoked. | ||||||||||||||||||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. | ||||||||||||||||||
The effect of this Order is to authorise the Cork County Council to charge revised goods and tonnage rates and to introduce mooring charges at Bantry Pier. |
