HIRING (NO. 2) ORDER, 1968.

I, JOHN Lynch, Acting Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Hire-Purchase (Amendment) Act, 1960 (No. 15 of 1960), and the Hire-Purchase (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1968 ( S.I. No. 158 of 1968 ), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Hiring (No. 2) Order, 1968.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 20th day of December, 1968.

3. The Hiring Order, 1968 ( S.I. No. 224 of 1968 ), shall not apply in relation to mechanically propelled bicycles.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to remove mechanically propelled bicycles from the scope of the restrictions imposed by the Hiring Order, 1968.
