EXPLANATORY NOTE. | ||
This Order provides that a manufacturer may not increase the price of a commodity manufactured by him, and that a person rendering a service or carrying out (other than under a contract of service) work or a process may not increase his charge without giving two month's notice in advance to the Minister for Industry and Commerce. The Order further provides that an importer or a wholesaler whose business had a turnover of more than £250,000 in its latest financial year may not increase the actual cash margin he takes on any commodity in which he deals without giving two month's notice in advance to the Minister. |
