CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (EXTENSION OF LAWS) REGULATIONS, 1978.

I, PÁDRAIG FAULKNER, Minister for Tourism and Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as amended by section 11 of the Customs-free Airport (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 29 of 1958)) the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ) and the Transport and Power (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 305 of 1977 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations, 1978.

2. The Control of Exports (No. 2) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 373 of 1977 ), shall extend to the Customs-free Airport.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to extend to the Customs-free Airport at Shannon the Control of Exports (No. 2) Order, 1977.
