VALUE-ADDED TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1978 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1979.

I, SEOIRSE Ó COLLA, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 32 (3) of the Value-Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 1978 (No. 34 of 1978), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Value-Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 1978 (Commencement) Order, 1979.

2. The 1st day of March, 1979, is hereby appointed as the day on which sections 1 to 28 and 30 to 32 of the Value-Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 1978 , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings the Value-Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 1978 into operation on 1 March, 1979.
