ELECTIONS OF CONSERVATORS (POSTPONEMENT) ORDER, 1979.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 (2) of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1976 (No. 23 of 1976), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ), as adapted by the Fisheries (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 1978 ( S.I. No. 195 of 1978 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1979.

2. The Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 331 of 1977 ), is hereby amended by the substitution for Article 2 (inserted by the Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 302 of 1978 )) of the following Article:

" 2. The elections of conservators which apart from this Order, would, pursuant to the Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1978 ( S.I. No. 302 of 1978 ), fall to be held in the year 1979 shall be held in the year 1980.".
