I, TOM NOLAN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 (i) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), hereby order as follows:—

1. This order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (Appointed Day) (Aer Lingus Teoranta/Aerlínte Éireann Teoranta) Order, 1981.

2. The 5th day of January, 1981 is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of Section 6 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), in relation to Aer Lingus Teoranta and Aerlínte Éireann Teoranta.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order prescribes the appointed day for determining election years for the purposes of Section 6 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 , in relation to Aer Lingus Teoranta/Aerlínte Éireann Teoranta.
