TRADE UNION ACT, 1941 (REVOCATION OF NEGOTIATION LICENSE) (No. 1) ORDER, 1981.

I, TOM NOLAN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the power conferred on me by Section 17 of the Trade Union Act, 1941 (No. 22 of 1941), and the Labour (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 164 of 1966 ), and being satisfied that the holder of the negotiation licence hereinafter referred to has ceased to be an authorised trade union within the meaning of the said Act, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Trade Union Act, 1941 , (Revocation of Negotiation License) (No. 1) Order, 1981.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 15th day of May, 1981.

3. The negotiation license granted to the Writers', Actors', Artists' and Musicians' Association, on the 25th day of May, 1945, subsequently registered as the Irish Actors' Equity Association on 23rd day of November, 1950, is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to revoke the negotiation licence which was granted to the Irish Actors' Equity Association on 23rd November, 1950.
