S.I. No. 321/1981 - Industrial Development (Service Industries) Order, 1981.

I, MICHAEL O'LEARY, Minister for Industry and Energy, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Industrial Development (No. 2) Act, 1981 (No. 14 of 1981), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Development (Service Industries) Order, 1981, and shall come into operation on the 9th day of September, 1981.

2. For the purpose of section 1 of the Industrial Development Authority Act, 1950 (No. 29 of 1950), as amended by the Industrial Development (No. 2) Act, 1981 (No. 14 of 1981), the following service industries are hereby specified:

—Data Processing Services,

—Software Development Services,

—Technical and Consulting Services,

—Commercial Laboratory Services,

—Administrative Headquarter Services,

—Research and Development Services,

—Media Recording Services,

—Training Services,

—Publishing Services,

—International Financial Services,

—Healthcare Services.

This Order specifies, in Paragraph 2, those service industries which are eligible for employment grants under the terms of the Industrial Development (No. 2) Act, 1981 .
