CORAS BEOSTOIC AGUS FEOLA ACT, 1979 (LEVY ON SLAUGHTERED OR EXPORTED LIVESTOCK) ORDER, 1982.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 28 (3) of the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (No. 25 of 1979), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (Levy on Slaughtered or Exported Livestock) Order, 1982.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of July, 1982.

3. The amount of levy payable under section 28 of the Coras Beostoic agus Feola Act, 1979 (No. 25 of 1979), shall, in lieu of the sum specified in subsection (2) (a), be 70p per animal and, in lieu of the sum specified in subsection (2) (b), be 7p per animal.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to increase the levy payable to C.B.F. on cattle and sheep slaughtered or exported live from the State.
