CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACT, 1984 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1985

I, MICHAEL NOONAN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (1) of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 (No. 22 of 1984), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 (Commencement) Order, 1985.

2. The Criminal Justice Act, 1984 , other than sections 4 to 6, 8 to 10, 15, 16, 18 and 19, shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1985.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the date on which certain provisions of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 , shall come into operation.
