LOCAL GOVERNMENT (REORGANISATION) ACT, 1985, (COMMITTEES OF AGRICULTURE) ORDER, 1985.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 26 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 (No. 7 of 1985), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 (Committees of Agriculture) Order, 1985.

2. The following committees of agriculture are hereby specified for the purposes of section 26 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 :—

Clare Committee of Agriculture

Cork Committee of Agriculture

Kerry Committee of Agriculture

Kildare Committee of Agriculture

Kilkenny Committee of Agriculture

Laoighis Committee of Agriculture

Louth Committee of Agriculture

Roscommon Committee of Agriculture

Sligo Committee of Agriculture

Westmeath Committee of Agriculture

Wicklow Committee of Agriculture.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order specifies the Committees of Agriculture, in addition to the Dublin Committee of Agriculture, to which the provisions of section 26 of the Local Government (Reorganisation) Act, 1985 will apply.
