KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1985.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33 (7) of the Local Government Act, 1941 (No. 23 of 1941), hereby orders as follows—

1. This Order may be cited as the Kildare County Council (Amendment) Order, 1985.

2. The Schedule to the Kildare County Council (Amendment) Order, 1974 ( S.I. No. 49 of 1974 ), as amended by article 6 of the County Electoral Areas (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1985 ( S.I. No. 110 of 1985 ), is hereby amended by the transfer of the townland of Newtown in the district electoral division of Kilrush from the Kildare county electoral area to the Athy county electoral area.
