EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (VEGETABLE SEEDS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1985.

I, AUSTIN DEASY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), hereby make the following Regulations:

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) (Amendment) Regulations, 1985.

(2) The European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) regulations, 1981 ( S.I. No. 73 of 1981 ) and these Regulations may be cited together as the European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) Regulations, 1981 and 1985.

(3) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 12th day of November, 1985.

2. Regulation 5 (6) of the European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) Regulations, 1981, ( S.I. No. 73 of 1981 ) is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend existing Regulations ( S.I. No. 73 of 1981 ) by revoking the provision relating to the charging of registration fees for entry in the National Catalogue.
