AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT (COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF LAND) ORDER, 1989.

I, JOHN P. WILSON, T. D. , Minister for Tourism and Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 41 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 (No. 40 of 1936), and the Communications (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 92 of 1987 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, and after consultation with the Minister for Industry and Commerce, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport (Compulsory Acquisition of Land) Order, 1989.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. I hereby declare my intention to acquire compulsorily the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

4. The following enactments:—

( a ) the Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Act, 1919, and

( b ) the Lands Clauses Acts so far as the same are not inconsistent with the said Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Act, 1919, are hereby incorporated with this Order.

SCHEDULE

All that part of the lands situated in the townland of Collinstown and the Barony of Coolock in the County of Dublin containing 0.52 statute acres or thereabouts which said lands are more particularly delineated on the plan annexed hereto and thereon edged in red.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this instrument is to provide for the compulsory acquisition of approximately 0.52 statute acres of land in the townland of Collinstown, Co. Dublin in connection with the construction of the new runway at Dublin Airport.
