INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1989. | ||
The Government, on the request of the Minister for Industry and Commerce and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Industry and Commerce (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1989. 2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Industry and Commerce— | ||
( a ) conferred by or under the Export Promotion Acts, 1959 to 1983, | ||
( b ) in relation to international trade conferred by or under the Acts specified in the Schedule to this Order, and | ||
( c ) in relation to the Irish Goods Council under the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 (No. 16 of 1924), | ||
are hereby delegated to Terry Leyden, Minister of State at the Department of Industry and Commerce. | ||
