COMPANIES ACT, 1990 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1991.

I, DESMOND O'MALLEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Companies Act, 1990 (No. 33 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Companies Act, 1990 (Commencement) Order, 1991.

2. The 1st day of February, 1991 is hereby fixed as the day on which the provisions specified in column (2) of the Table to this Order of the Parts of the Companies Act, 1990 (No. 33 of 1990), specified in column (1) of the said Table shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the 1st day of February, 1991 as the day on which Part XIII, and certain provisions of Parts II, III and XII of the Companies Act, 1990 shall come into operation.
