FOIR TEORANTA (DISSOLUTION) ACT, 1990 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1991.

I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Acting Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 12 of the Foir Teoranta (Dissolution) Act, 1990 (No. 31 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Foir Teoranta (Dissolution) Act, 1990 (Commencement) Order, 1991.

2. The 2nd day of April, 1991, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Foir Teoranta (Dissolution) Act, 1990 (No. 31 of 1990), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the coming into operation of the Foir Teoranta (Dissolution) Act, 1990 on 2 April 1991. Under the terms of the Act, Foir Teoranta will be dissolved on that date and its assets and liabilities transferred to the Industrial Credit Corporation plc in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
