EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (ADDITIVES IN FEEDINGSTUFFS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1991.

I, MICHAEL O'KENNEDY, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by
section 3
of the
European Communities Act, 1972
(No. 27 of 1972), and for the purposes of giving effect to the Council Directive No. 89/583/EEC of 27 October, 1989,(1) Commission Directive No. 90/110/EEC of 19 February, 1990,(2) Commission Directive No. 90/206/EEC of 9 April, 1990,(3) Commission Directive No. 90/214/EEC of 20 April, 1990,(4) Commission Directive No. 90/412/EEC of 20 July, 1990,(5) and Commission Directive No. 90/643/EEC of 26 November, 1990, (6) and for the purposes of giving further effect to Council Directive 70/524/EEC of 23 November, 1970, (7) as amended, hereby make the following Regulations:
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Additives in Feedingstuffs) (Amendment) Regulations, 1991.

(2) The European Communities (Additives in Feedingstuffs) Regulations, 1989 and these Regulations may be cited together as the European Communities (Additives in Feedingstuffs) Regulations, 1989 and 1991.
2. In these Regulations "the Regulations of 1989" means the European Communities (Additives in Feedingstuffs) Regulations, 1989 (
S.I. No. 49 of 1989
).
3. Regulation 2 (1) of the Regulations of 1989 is hereby amended by the substitution, for the definition of "Council Directive", of the definition set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
4. The Regulations of 1989 are hereby amended by the substitution—

( a ) for the First Schedule thereto, of the Schedule set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations,
|
| |
( b ) for the Second Schedule thereto, of the Schedule set out in the Third Schedule to these Regulations,
|
| |
( c ) for the Fourth Schedule thereto, of the Schedule set out in the Fourth Schedule to these Regulations.
