URBAN RENEWAL ACT, 1986 (REMISSION OF RATES) (AMENDMENT) SCHEME, 1991.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 7 (3) of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (No. 19 of 1986) hereby makes the following amending scheme:—

1. This amending scheme may be cited as the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Remission of Rates) (Amendment) Scheme, 1991.

2. Article 4 of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Remission of Rates) Scheme, 1986 ( S.I. No. 276 of 1986 ) as amended by the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Remission of Rates) (Amendment) Scheme, 1989 ( S.I. No. 195 of 1989 ) is hereby amended by the substitution of "31st day of May, 1993" for "31st day of May, 1991".

3. Article 4 of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Remission of Rates) Scheme, 1988 ( S.I. No. 93 of 1988 ) is hereby amended by the substitution of "31st day of May, 1993" for "31st day of May, 1991".

4. Article 4 of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Remission of Rates) (No. 2) Scheme, 1988 ( S.I. No. 311 of 1988 ) is hereby amended by the substitution of "31st day of May, 1993" for "31st day of May, 1991".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This scheme extends the qualifying period within which certain works must be carried out in order to be eligible for remission of rates under the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 . The revised closing date is 31st May, 1993.
