BUILDING CONTROL ACT, 1990 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1991.

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 25 (2) of the Building Control Act, 1990 (No. 3 of 1990), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Building Control Act, 1990 (Commencement) Order, 1991.

2. (1) Sections 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 6 , 7 , 14 , 15 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 and 25 of the Building Control Act, 1990 , shall come into operation on the 4th day of December, 1991.

(2) The Building Control Act, 1990 , other than the provisions referred to in sub-article (1) of this article, shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings certain provisions of the Building Control Act, 1990 , into operation on the 4th December, 1991. The remainder of the Act will come into operation on the 1st June, 1992.
