JURY DISTRICTS ORDER, 1991.

I, RAY BURKE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 (3) of the Juries Act, 1976 (No. 4 of 1976) hereby revoke and Order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Jury Districts Order, 1991.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 16th day of December, 1991.

3. Part II of the Schedule to the Jury Districts Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 57 of 1976 ) is hereby amended by the deletion of the reference to the jury district, County of Louth (Jury District No. 1 (Dundalk) and Jury District No. 2 (Drogheda)).

4. I hereby revoke Jury Districts Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 59 of 1977 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Statutory Instrument which comes into operation on 16th December, 1991 amends Jury Districts Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 57 of 1976 ) and revokes Jury Districts Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 59 of 1977 ). For the purposes of the Juries Act, 1976 the County of Louth is now one jury district.
