B & I LINE ACT, 1991 (SECTION 8) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1993.

I, BRIAN COWEN, Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8 (3) of the B & I Line Act, 1991 (No. 29 of 1991), as adapted by the Tourism, Transport and Communications (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 17 of 1993 ), hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the B & I Line Act, 1991 (Section 8) (Commencement) Order, 1993.

2. The 15th day of October, 1993, is hereby fixed as the day on which section 8 of the B & I Line Act, 1991 (No. 29 of 1991), shall come into operation, in so far as that section applies to Part II of the Schedule to that Act.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order, made by the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, appoints the 15th day of October, 1993 as the day on which Section 8 of the B & I Line Act, 1991 (No. 29 of 1991), comes into operation in so far as that section applies to Part II of the Schedule to that Act.
