EXPLANATORY NOTE. | ||
These Regulations provide for a reduction, from 6 to 4 weeks, in the period over which a person's income comprising earnings from employment as an employee is assessed in the case of Family Income Supplement for the purpose of calculating the weekly family income. | ||
Under existing provisions, people participating in a Social Employment Scheme are not regarded as being in remunerative full-time employment for Family Income Supplement purposes. These Regulations make similar provision for people participating in Community Employment, which incorporates the former Social Employment scheme. |
