HEALTH (DENTAL SERVICES FOR CHILDREN) REGULATIONS, 1995.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Health (Amendment) Act, 1994 (No. 11 of 1994 ) hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health (Dental Services for Children) Regulations, 1995.

2. For the purposes of section 1 (1) of the Health (Amendment) Act, 1994 the following dental health services are hereby specified:—

( a ) a dental health screening service, and

( b ) a preventive and primary care dental treatment service for defects noted in the course of a screening mentioned at sub-paragraph (a), and

the age under which children to whom such services shall be provided is hereby specified as any age up to the attainment of the fourteenth birthday.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to extend eligibility for Children's Dental Services up to the fourteenth birthday.
