CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACT, 1994 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1995.

I, NORA OWEN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1994 (No. 15 of 1994), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act, 1994 (Commencement) Order, 1995.

2. In this Order "the Act of 1994" means the Criminal Justice Act, 1994 (No. 15 of 1994).

3. Section 32 (10) of the Act of 1994 shall come into operation on the 6th day of March, 1995.

4. Section 32, other than subsection (10), section 57 and section 58 (2) of the Act of 1994 shall come into operation on the 2nd day of May, 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the dates on which the provisions of sections 32 , 57 and 58 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act, 1994 come into operation.
