STOCK EXCHANGE ACT, 1995 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1995.

I, RUAIRÍ QUINN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Stock Exchange Act, 1995 (No. 9 of 1995), hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Stock Exchange Act, 1995 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 1995.

2. Sections 1, 2, 3 (other than the definition of statutory functions), 4, 5, 7 to 49 and 51 to 70 shall come into operation on the 29th day of September, 1995.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order commences the Stock Exchange Act from 29 September, 1995, other than sections 6 and 50 and the definition of "statutory functions" in section 3 which were commenced from 1 August, 1995 by the Stock Exchange Act, 1995 (Commencement) Order, 1995 ( S.I. No. 206 of 1995 ).
