S.I. No. 86/1999 - Oireachtas (Allowances To Members) (Telephone and Postal Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1999.
I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, T.D., Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 2 (inserted by section 11 (1) of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Amendment) Act, 1992 (No. 3 of 1992), and amended by section 3 of the Oireachtas (Miscellaneous Provisions) and Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices (Amendment) Act, 1996 (No. 39 of 1996)) and 3 (as amended by section 17 of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) and Ministerial, Parliamentary, Judicial and Court Offices (Amendment) Act, 1998 (No. 5 of 1998)) of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) Act, 1962 (No. 32 of 1962), hereby make the following regulations: | ||||||||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Telephone and Postal Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1999. | ||||||||
2. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 6th day of June, 1997. | ||||||||
3. Regulation 2 (1) of the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Telephone and Postal Facilities) Regulations, 1998 ( S.I. No. 99 of 1998 ) is hereby amended by the substitution for— | ||||||||
“(c) A Joint Committee (within the meaning of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann and, the Standing Orders of Seanad Éireann) appointed by both Houses of the Oireachtas.” | ||||||||

(d) the Select Committee on Members' Interests of Dáil Éireann, | ||||||||
