S.I. No. 7/2000 - Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (Section 14) Order, 2000.

I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 14 (1) of the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (No. 8 of 1993), hereby order as follows:

1 (1) This Order may be cited as the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (Section 14) Order, 2000.

(2) This Order shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1999.

2. The annual rate of remuneration of the Comptroller and Auditor General shall be £94,772, commencing on the 1st day of July, 1999.

3. The Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993, Order, 1998 ( S.I. No. 121 of 1998 ), is hereby revoked.

This Order provides for an increase of 2% in accordance with Clause 4 of the Annex to the Pay Agreement which forms part of Partnership 2000 for Inclusion, Employment and Competitiveness, to the salary of the Comptroller and Auditor General with effect from 1 July, 1999.
