S.I. No. 252/2000 - Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act, 2000. (Sections 44, 45 and 46) (Commencement) Order, 2000.

I, FRANK FAHEY, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act, 2000 (No. 14 of 2000), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act, 2000 (Sections 44, 45 and 46) (Commencement) Order, 2000.

2. The 1st day of August, 2000, is hereby fixed as the day on which sections 44 , 45 and 46 of the Merchant Shipping (Investigation of Marine Casualties) Act, 2000 (No. 14 of 2000), shall come into operation.
