S.I. No. 293/2000 - Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 (Commencement) Order, 2000.

I, MARY O'ROURKE, Minister for Public Enterprise, in the exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 (No. 27 of 2000), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 (Commencement) Order, 2000.

2. The 20th day of September, 2000, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 (No. 27 of 2000), shall come into operation.
