S.I. No. 477/2002 - Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act 2001 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2002

I, MICHAEL McDOWELL, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 10 (3) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment Act 2001 (No. 27 of 2001), order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act 2001 (Commencement)(No. 2) Order 2002.

2.        The 4th day of November 2002 is fixed as the day on which section 4 (2)(c) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 27 of 2001) shall come into operation.

This order brings section 4 (2)(c) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act 2001 into operation. The remainder of the Act was brought into operation on 26 November, 2001.
