S.I. No. 85/2004 - Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 2004
The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Sections 6 and 18 of the Building Control Act 1990 (No. 3 of 1990), hereby makes the following Regulations:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations, 2004. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 April 2004. 3. In these Regulations, “the Principal Regulations” means the Building Control Regulations 1997 ( S.I. No. 496 of 1997 ). 4. These Regulations amend the prescribed form of Commencement Notice which must generally be served on the local building control authority — prior to the start of work on the construction of new buildings or the material alteration of, or extension to, existing buildings. | ||||||||||||||||||||
The Regulations will come into operation on the 1st April 2004. |
