S.I. No. 94/2004 - Education & Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2004

The Government, on request of the Minister for Education and Science and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No.2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Education and Science (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 2004.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Education and Science conferred or imposed on that Minister of the Government by or under the Education (Welfare) Act, 2000 are delegated to Brian Lenihan, Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science.
