S.I. No. 584/2008 - National Development Finance Agency Act 2002 (Prescription of Public Authority) (Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail) Order 2008

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 6th January, 2009.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 22(1) (inserted by section 9 of the National Development Finance Agency (Amendment) Act 2007 (No. 16 of 2007)) of the National Development Finance Agency Act 2002 (No. 29 of 2002), hereby make the following order, with respect to which, pursuant to section 22(2) (as so inserted) of the National Development Finance Agency Act 2002 , a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and no resolution disapproving of the draft has been passed by either such House within the next subsequent 21 days on which each House sat after the draft was laid before it:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Development Finance Agency Act 2002 (Prescription of Public Authority) (Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail) Order 2008.

2. Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 17 of the Schedule (inserted by section 11 of the National Development Finance Agency (Amendment) Act 2007 (No. 16 of 2007)) to the National Development Finance Agency Act 2002 (No. 29 of 2002).
