The Government, on the request of the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2009. | ||
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs conferred on him by or under the enactments specified in the Schedule are delegated to John Curran, Minister of State at the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. | ||
