NATIONAL TREASURY MANAGEMENT AGENCY ACT 1990 (SOCIAL WELFARE AND PENSIONS ACT 2009) DELEGATION OF FUNCTIONS ORDER 2010.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 16th February, 2010.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 5 of the National Treasury Management Agency Act 1990 (No. 18 of 1990), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the National Treasury Management Agency Act 1990 (Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2009) Delegation of Functions Order 2010.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on 17 February 2010.

2. The functions of the Minister for Finance under section 22 (5) of the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2009 , being functions of the Minister for Finance specified at paragraph (u) of the First Schedule to the National Treasury Management Agency Act 1990 (inserted by section 22 (11) of the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2009 ), are delegated to the National Treasury Management Agency.

This Order delegates to the National Treasury Management Agency certain functions of the Minister for Finance under section 22 of the Social Welfare and Pensions Act 2009 in connection with the making of a Pensions Insolvency Payment Scheme.
