S.I. No. 292/2010 - Harbours Act 1996 (Wexford Harbour Commissioners) Transfer Order 2010.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 18th June, 2010.

I, NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 88 (2) of the Harbours Act 1996 (No. 11 of 1996), and the Maritime Transport, Safety and Security (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2005 ( S.I. No. 842 of 2005 ), and with the consent of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act 1996 (Wexford Harbour Commissioners) Transfer Order 2010.

2. This Order comes into operation on 15 June 2010.

3. The property, rights and liabilities and every member of staff of Wexford Harbour Commissioners are transferred to Wexford County Council.
