S.I. No. 336/2010 - Criminal Justice Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2010.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th July, 2010.

I, DERMOT AHERN, Minister for Justice and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Criminal Justice Act 2006 (No. 26 of 2006) (as adapted by the Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 216 of 2010 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2010.

2. The 2 July 2010 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 2006 (No. 26 of 2006) shall come into operation:

(a) section 108(4);

(b) section 109;

(c) section 111 (other than paragraph (a));

(d) section 112 (other than paragraph (a)).
