S.I. No. 390/2010 - Air Navigation and Transport (International Conventions) Act 2004 (Revision of Limits of Liability) Order 2010.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 6th August, 2010.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 6 (2) of the Air Navigation and Transport (International Conventions) Act 2004 (No. 11 of 2004), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport (International Conventions) Act 2004 (Revision of Limits of Liability) Order 2010.

2. The revised limits of liability, effective from 30 December 2009, established under Articles 21 and 22 of the Montreal Convention are as certified in column (3) of the following Table:

The purpose of this Order is to revise the limits of liability of air carriers for the carriage of passengers, cargo and baggage in the event of damage, delay or loss, as set out in the Air Navigation and Transport (International Conventions) Act 2004 .
