I, MICHEÁL MARTIN, T.D., Minister for Foreign Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8 of the Cluster Munitions and Anti-Personnel Mines Act 2008 (No. 20 of 2008), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Cluster Munitions and Anti-Personnel Mines Act 2008 (Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction) Order 2011. | ||
2. It is hereby declared that each state specified in the Schedule to this Order is an Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention state. | ||
3. This Order shall come into operation on the 13th day of January 2011. | ||

The effect of this Order is to specify the states that are parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction, done at Oslo on 18 September 1997. |
