S.I. No. 526/2011 - Courts Service Act 1998 (Section 29(2)) Order 2011.

I, ALAN SHATTER, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 (2) of the Courts Service Act 1998 (No. 8 of 1998) (as adapted by the Justice and Law Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 138 of 2011 )), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Courts Service Act 1998 (Section 29(2)) Order 2011.

(2) This Order comes into operation on 1 November 2011.

2. Schedule 2 to the Courts Service Act 1998 (No. 8 of 1998) is amended by the insertion in columns 1, 2 and 3, respectively, of that Schedule after the seventh entry therein of:

This Order amends Schedule 2 to the Courts Service Act 1998 (No. 8 of 1998) in order to transfer the responsibility for the appointment of temporary District Probate Registrars, from the Minister for Justice and Equality to the Courts Service.
