S.I. No. 119/2012 - Local Government (Household Charge) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2012.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 14 and 16 of the Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011 , hereby make the following regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Household Charge) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2012.

2. The Local Government (Household Charge) Regulations 2012 ( S.I. No. 1 of 2012 )(as amended by the Local Government (Household Charge) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 ( S.I. No. 81 of 2012 )) are amended by the insertion of the following Regulations after Regulation 10:

“11.The Property Registration Authority established by the Registration of Deeds and Title Act 2006 is prescribed under section 14(3)(e) of the Act.

12. A fee shall not be payable in respect of the provision of information by the person prescribed by Regulation 11.”.

These Regulations prescribe the Property Registration Authority as a relevant person for the purposes of section 14(1)(a) of Local Government (Household Charge) Act 2011.
