S.I. No. 190/2012 - Education (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) Order 2012.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 8th June, 2012.

I, RUAIRÍ QUINN TD, Minister for Education and Skills, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Education (Amendment) Act 2012 (No. 14 of 2012), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) Order 2012.

2. The 6th day of June 2012 is appointed as the day on which the Education (Amendment) Act 2012 (No. 14 of 2012), other than—

(a) section 6 (in so far as it relates to subsections (8), (9) and (10) of section 24 of the Education Act 1998 (No. 51 of 1998)), and

(b) section 8,

comes into operation.
