Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (No. 23 of 2012), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (Appointed Day) Order 2012.

2. The day appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Dormant Accounts (Amendment) Act 2012 (No. 23 of 2012) is 31 December 2012.
