S.I. No. 471/2012 - Petroleum (Exploration and Extraction) Safety Act 2010 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2012.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 4th December, 2012.

I, PAT RABBITTE, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Petroleum (Exploration and Extraction) Safety Act 2010 (No. 4 of 2010), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Petroleum (Exploration and Extraction) Safety Act 2010 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2012.

2. The 1st day of January 2013 is appointed as the day on which section 3 (d) of the Petroleum (Exploration and Extraction) Safety Act 2010 (No. 4 of 2010), in so far as it relates to the insertion of sections 13D and 13L into the Electricity Regulation Act 1999 (No. 23 of 1999), comes into operation.
