I, ENDA KENNY, Taoiseach, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 25 (1) of the Statistics Act 1993 (No. 21 of 1993) and for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1099/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 September 20101 , hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Business Energy Use Survey) Order 2013. | ||
2. This Order applies to an undertaking that is classified for statistical purposes under Section B, C, D, E, G, H, J, K and M of NACE Rev. 2, as set out in Annex IV to Commission Regulation (EC) No. 973/2007 of 20 August 20072 , and which is engaged in economic activities at any time during a year in respect of which a survey is undertaken. | ||
3. An undertaking to which this Order applies is required to provide the Central Statistics Office with information under the Statistics Act 1993 , the general nature of which is specified in the Schedule, in relation to its economic activities in the year preceding the year in which a survey is undertaken. | ||
4. The information referred to in Article 3 shall be provided annually commencing in 2013. | ||
SCHEDULE | ||
Article 3 | ||
(a) Particulars of all types of energy used by the undertaking by quantity and value; | ||
(b) Particulars of all types of energy used by the undertaking purchased from a third party by quantity and value; | ||
(c) Particulars of the heating system used by the undertaking by quantity; | ||
(d) Particulars of the air conditioning system used by the undertaking by quantity; | ||
(e) Particulars of time taken to complete the questionnaire or form. | ||
