S.I. No. 576/2013 - Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (Transfer Day) Order 2013.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 3rd January, 2014.

The Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6 of the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (No. 50 of 2013), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (Transfer Day) Order 2013.

2. The 1st day of January 2014 is appointed as the transfer day for the purposes of the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 (No. 50 of 2013).

This order provides that the 1 January 2014 is appointed as the transfer day for the purposes of the Water Services (No. 2) Act 2013 . The functions of the water services authorities will transfer to Irish Water on this day.
