954. (1) As soon as practicable but in any event not later than 4 months after the end of each year, the Director shall report in writing to the Minister about the activities of the Director during that year.
(2) The annual report shall be prepared in such manner and form as the Minister may direct.
(3) The Minister shall ensure that copies of the annual report are laid before each House of the Oireachtas not later than 6 months after the end of the year to which the report relates.
(4) Nothing in subsection (2) shall be read as requiring the Director to include in the annual report information the inclusion of which would, in the Director's opinion, be likely to prejudice the performance of any of his or her functions.
